My Acne Cure!

This post is highly dedicated to my merciless that helped me to get rid of my acne when I really needed it! From age of 14 I struggled with acne and my worse decision was to use highstereet products on my super sensitive skin(I didn't know at that time). Products such as Clerasil made my skin much worse as this particular product is really heavy and harsh for my skin. After going through up's and down's with my skin I decided to invest in something more expensive (yes, I was 15 Clinique was way too expensive for my pocket money!). I remember when I went into Clinique and lady talked me through different products that will be perfect for my skin and after 2 bottles of anti-blemish foam and 1-2-3 solution my skin cleared out in one month completely!

I was really gutted I didn't use Clinique before as it honestly did all the goods for my skin.

Clinique 1-2-3 Solution.

 Anti-Blemish Solution Cleansing Foam £15.50

This particular cleanser is really gentle on the skin has no perfume and no harsh particles. After taking off your make up and making sure your skin is make-up free, wash your face with warm water and apply 2 pumps of the cleansing foam and gently massage it into your face. You will realise that it almost cools your sore skin after a long day and makes it feel squeaky clean and un-irratated. Apply every morning and evening for the best results.

Clarifying Lotion 2 £16.50 200ml

Second step for clearer skin is this baby! Unfortunately I run out of the full size one but theres a little sample when you get when you purchase any Clinique products which is great if you want to try some of their products at home, and potentially buy it later on. This product is quite stripping and you can definitely feel your skin being stripped out of all of the dirt on your skin, please void your eyes trust me it's not pleasant! 

  Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel £17.00 50ml

Until this day I use this moisturiser, as its gel based it doesn't make my oil skin even more oily like some different products. It leaves your skin really nourished but not greasy for a long time. This product is perfect when you have a bad skin day (e.g. me now) it makes your skiing really fresh and moisturised. Use everyday morning and evening for better flawless skin!

Product worth buying: Smashbox full exposure eyeshadow palette

Hey guys!

Today's blog is going to be about the amazing eyeshadow palette from Smashbox, it's really similar to the Urban Decay Naked palettes which kind of draw me into buying it, I highly recommend going into the Smashbox counter and ask for free makeover using this palette. The lady that did my makeup transformed my makeup adding this particular product. I am not so much of a full makeup wearer but surprisingly I really loved the finish of the 'transformation'. She also talked me through the palette and what are the best way of using it. The palette has 14 colours 7 shimmers and 7 matt, the one amazing thing I found out that you can actually wet your eyeshadow brush (which you also get when purchasing the palette, along with the full exposure mascara) and by that the eyeshadow turns to cream eyeshadow - perfect for the base! With the pallet you get an instruction to help you find your eye shape and how to use the eyeshadows in this particular palette. I am really impressed with the pigments and the long stay on the eyelids (with smash box lid primer). After all I really recommend this product as its worth spending the money on, it has all of the colours that you need for day and night from really pretty nudes and browns to dark navy and blacks. Thumbs up from me!

Current makeup.

Today's post supposed to be about my outfit of the day but I couldn't get any decent picture of my outfit outside as it got really dark when I got back home, but I will add pictures that I took just before leaving my house.

This post however will be about my current make-up and what I usually wear on my face. On day to day basis I don't tend to wear a lot of make up: foundation, bronzer,mascara and I'm all good to go. However sometimes I like to try out some new make up and make more effort with my face looking good.

 Firstly, base. This foundation has been my favourite for a long time, i rely like the dewy finish and the way it doesn't make my makeup feel 'heavy' or dry. I have combination skin, so sometimes my skin can be terribly dry and this is the bet foundation for that time. I will still say Dior foundation has to be my NO.1 but this one comes close to it.

 I am a huge fan of Laura Mercier makeup as well as skin care. This however is pressed foundation that I like to use as a powder - breaking rules here. But as I mentioned using such a light coverage foundation allows me to add more coverage for my skin and slightly mattifyies the skin but still makes my skin look fresh. I also use this foundation for under eyes it brightens and makes your face look more awake when you really need it!

 This bronzer has been my favourite since I got it, however now I am really getting bored of the matt finish of this particular bronzer. I am on a hunt for the perfect slightly shimmery bronzer with less red pigment than this one. On the other hand I find this bronzer really good for conturing and defining your face.

 This has to be the best concealer I have ever used, Its so creamy and it never creases under my eyes I do use it with the Laura Mercier foundation on top but this baby hides any imperfection on your face I will re-purchase this to death.

I'm a sucker for a good lip balm, I will choose it over any lipstick. This product leaves your lips so smooth and moisturised you wouldn't want to put any lip stain/lipstick on top. It has slight tint to it which gives more interesting finish rather than your standard carmex. It isn't sticky and gloopy, it glides on your lips like butter. Thumbs up !

 Can you tell I love this product? I purchased it last year and I'm still using it! its amazing how much product you get with this, I really was regretting buying it at first when I found out it costs £23.00 when I could get MUA brow kit for £4.00. But now I don't regret a thing its a perfect mach for my brows and its shapes them perfectly.

 I don't thing this needs any explanation. I will never ever purchase different mascara after using this one. It makes my eyelashes look fake - in a really good way. It holds the curl and the top of the brush is perfect for corners and bottom lashes.

Im really surprised how much i like this blush. The camera doesn't do the justest at all, its slightly shimmery and gives really nice 'i was just running around' but not to much look to your cheeks! Its really buildable so you don't need to worry about putting too much on your cheeks.

Product Review: Clinique Take the day off cleansing Balm

A week ago I purchased Clinique Take the day off cleansing Balm and I must say I'm in love with this product! I am a huge fan of Clinique as in my teen's I was struggling with bad acne (like most of us) and majority of the product I used for my skin - just made it worse as my skin is super sensitive. The only thing that helped me fight my bad skin was this particular brand,so I knew my skin won't have a bad reaction to the product. I was looking for it everywhere but as it's so popular with the customers it was hard to get my hands on it, but after few days searching I finally found it in one of the bigger Boots store around my area.
At the beginning I really didn't know how to use this product, I thought it was meant to be used just like any other cleansers - wet your face and take the makeup off... no. This cleanser is to be used on dry skin, the consistency of it is really greasy but it leaves no resadue on the skin. Massage the product into your skin and concentrate on the eye area, it takes of water proof mascara! After this step just wet your face towel and gently take of your make up. Simple as that!
As I mentioned this product can be used on super sensitive skin and it wont harm your skin at any point.

Haul of 2014 Video

Hey guys !

Long time no see! I'm sorry for not recording and posting anything for a while, but the reason for that was the lack of equipment that I needed for creating my Youtube videos and more professional photos for my blog, I wanted start off this year right with weekly videos and posts (one video + post per week).
I got Canon 600d which makes my filming so much easier - well from this video you will see that the camera didn't focus at ALL times which I only noticed while finishing editing the video ! :( Anyway, I decided to make another Youtube video to show you guys what I got in past fee weeks (I also added 2 presents that I got for christmas that are worth getting!!).

I'm so sorry for not posting anything for a while now, I am extremely busy with Uni work and work in general. I decided to make this post as I was going to Uni today and was sent home because all of the trains were not working because of the weather. Recently I've done a huge makeup shopping including: Bobbi Brown and laura Mercier. Here is what products I used on my face to day and what I wore on a gloomy and rainy day.

Make up :

Night time routine

Hey guys!

I decided to make this very quick post about my night time routine and what products I usually use before going bed.

Hair:

  After I shower and wash my hair (I was my hair every other day) I put the L'OREAL extraordinary oil just to the ends of my hair to stay healthy and breakage free, along with the oil I spray the Bumble and Bumble thickening spray. I have naturally thick hair but this product just makes my hair feel ad seem very healthy and makes my hair easy to style next day, the product had this specific almost clinical smell like when you go to your dentist ! It's almost a love/hate relationship with the smell of the product. 

Next: My face.

For my face I've been loving the La Roche-posay products as they work just perfectly with my skin type. I've researched this particular brand and read all the reviews for the products I was interested in buying. Firstly from this brand I'm using Purifying foaming gel for oily sensitive skin. It's the perfect face cleanser for me as I am really allergic to any type perfumed products. Next i gently cleanse my skin with Bioderma to get the last bits of make up off. Then I moisturise my skin with the EFFECLAR MAT as the cleanser dries my skin, it's a good balance as the moisturiser sinks in almost immediately. For any imperfections I use EFFECLAR A.I. It gets rid of any imperfections that you simply don't want in your life!

Last product is a sample that I will be running down to BOOTS to purchase as soon as it runs out. I simply can't sleep without it! It's THISWORKS deep sleep pillow spray, I tend to spray it on my pillow once and it just helps me relax before sleep. It's a lavender smell which I adore, however if you go crazy (like I did when I first got it) and spray your whole bed with it you are not guaranteed a good sleep ! (It's so strong!) 

So there you go guys ! I really recommend these products as they work for me and make my life a bit easier!

What's on my face?

Today I'm dedicating my post to my everyday make-up. I've been asked many times how I do my make up and what products I use so I decided to show you that In this post. I tend to wear very light make up with a hint of bright lip. I use to wear heavy eyeliner everyday but I much prefer wearing simple natural make up as it suits me better than heavy make up. I stick to my favourites in this post such as my YSL foundation. 

Firstly, for the base I use a primer I purchased in Poland from a brand called AA. I've already done a review about this product in my previous post, it's a perfect primer for my sensitive skin. I am very allergic to any perfumed products and this primer is very gentle on my skin and what's most important is that it doesn't brake me out! Then I use one pump of my YSL foundation in B50, it's a perfect foundation for hot summer days. Then I used my favourite blusher from sleek; rose gold. It's very similar to the NARS orgasm blusher. It highlights and adds just perfect natural blush. For under my eye and any blemishes I use collection concealer in medium 3, I love the coverage of this concealer and also it's a perfect match. For mascara I recently started using MEGA VOLUME COLLAGENE 24 in black smoke. I love this mascara so far, I have long eyelashes so it works perfectly to give me thick and black long lashes! For the hint of colour I put TOPSHOP BRIGHT ROCK lipstick in a bright pink, it's very summery and it just completes the look!
